Title: Sr. Storage Engineer
Location: Walnut Creek and Oakland, CA
Pay: $55-65/hr
Job Type: 6 Month Contract
Schedule: Hybrid, 3 days onsite

A growing law firm is looking for a Sr. Storage Engineer who will play a critical part in supporting and maintaining their storage infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and seamless integration with their network environment. This person will own everything storage and be responsible for making sure the physical data center is in order. Should be willing and able to do the actual rack and stacking of equipment in the data center. This is a contract-to-hire role looking to start in May. Must be willing to work onsite in a hybrid capacity in the East Bay.
Typical Day to Day (Tasks & Responsibilities): handling any and everything related to storage. Storage migrations, management of physical data centers, rack and stacking as necessary.
Required Tech/Experience (Manager won't consider candidates without the following):
1.) Hands-on experience with Nimble (HPE) storage OR Cohesity platforms (deployment, configuration, and ongoing support)
2.) Solid understanding of networking concepts related to storage infrastructure (e.g., VLANs, routing, iSCSI, and overall data center connectivity)
3.) Ability to troubleshoot performance and connectivity issues across storage and network layers
4.) Ability to do rack and stack work in the data center (as needed)
