Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Storage Engineer with deep hands-on experience in HPE Nimble Storage and Cohesity DataProtect for an enterprise-level environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing storage and backup infrastructure, ensuring data availability, recoverability, and performance across the organization. This role is highly technical and requires someone who can work independently, troubleshoot complex issues, and support mission-critical storage operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, configure, and optimize HPE Nimble Storage arrays including performance tuning, capacity management, and storage provisioning.
  • Administer and maintain Cohesity backup and recovery systems, including policies, replication, and DR operations.
  • Support enterprise storage operations across SAN/NAS environments, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshooting of storage-related issues in large-scale environments.
  • Implement storage best practices, data protection standards, and security guidelines.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, server, and virtualization teams (VMware, Windows/Linux) to ensure seamless integration of storage solutions.
  • Assist with storage migrations, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.
  • Monitor system health, performance metrics, and alerts using standard tools.
  • Create and maintain documentation on configurations, layouts, policies, and runbooks.
  • Provide on-call support as needed for storage-related incidents.

 Hard Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with HPE Nimble Storage (mandatory)
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cohesity DataProtect (mandatory)
  • Expertise in SAN/NAS storage systems, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, Zoning, and Multipathing
  • Experience supporting enterprise storage in production environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
