Objective

Each expo’s primary objective is to provide friendly, responsive and efficient service to all restaurant and hotel guests through effective time management, overall professionalism and poise. The expo is responsible for providing a gracious level of service to guests to support guest satisfaction.

The expo is responsible for contributing to an environment within the restaurant and bar which encourages fellow co-workers to be happy, motivated and proud of the products and services provided by the restaurant.

The expo is a crucial contributor to building a loyal following amongst guests, thus increasing business and furthering the restaurant’s reputation of providing a legendary experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• To ensure that all food comes out of the kitchen properly and in a timely manner.
• To be the liaison between servers, host/hostess and bar and the kitchen.
• To prepare and stock the line with all items to operate successfully.
• To support the servers, bartenders, host/hostess, and kitchen in any way to make the guest experience legendary.
• To be knowledgeable about all menus, the resort, and the harbor.
• Be able to communicate clearly, effectively and confidently with our guests and supporting staff.
• Must have exceptional grooming habits.

• Check with MOD
• Put out items needed- BREAKFAST: milk, oj, bread and butter, LUNCH/DINNER: cocktail, tartar and lemons
• Turn on toaster
• Brew tea and coffee
• Stock all necessary items
• Find out ALL specials for the day
  1. Drink of the day
  2. Soup of the day
  3. Veggie of the day
  4. Chef’s Specials – Main entrees

• Keep all tea, coffee and ice stocked
• Line all B&B plates with doilies and baskets with liners
• Keep expo line clean, wiped and swept
• Go to P5 and P4 (ice room) for all items that need to be restocked
• Check grill reservations and cleanliness
• Help run food if necessary
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized

• Stock all kitchen items needed
• Sweep and mop the expo line
• Clean grill and grill area
• Make sure all Running sidework has been completed
• Check out with MOD
