Business Analyst I - Remote

Business Analyst I

The Business Analyst will be a critical member of the Operations Business Intelligence team which supports internal and external customers with analytics, subject-matter expertise, and general reporting needs. The Business Analyst is expected to be innovative, self-motivated, communicates effectively, and consistently seeks improvement within their role.

• Effectively communicating with organization leaders and stakeholders to develop reports and dashboards that assist in day-to-day operations with the intent of improving process flows and efficiency
• Developing new actionable reports for teams to report on various Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Deploying fixes to existing reporting to ensure the continuous improvement and reliability of reporting
• Working with the Business Intelligence Manager to organize and prioritize projects based on business needs
• Facilitating business needs between I.T. and end-users by assisting in low-level troubleshooting related to reporting and gaining buy-in from organizational users
• Building and sharing ad-hoc reporting or data models when required
• Identify opportunities for reporting improvements or automations that streamline existing processes

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, analytics, or other related curricula
• 1-3 years of experience in a Business Intelligence or general analytics role
• Strong Microsoft suite knowledge and experience
• Knowledge and experience in transportation and logistics is a plus
• Minimum of 1-year of experience with Power BI
  • DAX knowledge
• SQL knowledge is a plus
• Other programming knowledge is a plus (Python, VBA, etc.)
