Logistics Technician

We are seeking a Logistics Technician to support the daily operations of our Shipping and Receiving Department while assisting other departments as needed. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to contribute to a team focused on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

What we ask of you...

  • Ability to perform simple math in the duties of counting and reconciling inventory
  • Complete and maintain legible and accurate paperwork associated with assigned duties with beer inventory, labeling of products, create UPS labels
  • Ability to manage and prioritize First-in-First-Out (FIFO) when building custom orders, loading trucks and putting away various materials
  • Communicate with and assist other departments with inventory questions and aid in coordinating events/releases
  • Communicate effectively with Distributors, trucking companies, drivers, vendors, and sales
  • Ability to pass and maintain forklift Certification
  • Have a valid driver's license and be insurable to operate company vehicles

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Computer knowledge with (Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs. repeatedly
  • Ability to lift 165 lbs. buddy lift
  • Ability to be on your feet for up to 12 hours a day
  • Ability to work in a cooler/refrigerator for extended periods of time (up to 4 hours)
  • Ability to organize and direct the workflow of a workday

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED Certificate

Work Environment

This job operates in a manufacturing environment.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position with approximately 40 hours per week. Expected hours have the potential to change based on production needs. Typically, Monday through Friday rarely weekends.
