    Title: Strategic Sourcing Category lead
    Pay Rate: $50 - $62/HR 
    Location:  2375 N Glenville Drive, Richardson TX - M-F 8-5
    Potential to convert
    The Strategic Sourcing Category lead will be responsible for sourcing activities within Digital and Technology category, which entails developing sourcing strategies, establishing, and prioritizing sourcing initiatives for the team to achieve objectives. This Contractor position will report to the Sr. Director, Strategic Sourcing - Digital and Technology, and will work closely with IT, Legal, Finance and other key support departments,
    • Manage end-to-end sourcing for major Digital &Technology Categories (Enterprise Applications, Business Applications, Cloud, and Application support) for CBRE Corporate.
    • Identify and deliver cost savings and commercial value through sourcing strategies, demand management, and contract optimization.
    • Negotiates contracts and serves as the principal commercial and business terms intermediary between suppliers, CBRE, procurement, legal, security and risk management departments.
    • Negotiate Technology Enterprise Applications Agreement (ex: Microsoft, Oracle, Box, Adobe, Smartsheet) and Business applications (Salesforce, and other Real Estate Industry Specific software contracts) on a global scale

    Knowledge of Cloud technologies and operations is a plus.
    • Manages supplier relationships, negotiates at a senior level and serves as the lead in mediation/problem resolution.
    • Analyzes spend data to identify cost reduction opportunities, creates, documents, and continuously updates/maintains market and product knowledge.
    • Coordinate with global sourcing team and peers to aggregate data and develop strategies at local and global level.
    • Operates autonomously with little supervision to achieve strategic objectives assigned.
    • Other duties as assigned
    Minimum Education Requirements: BA/BS degree in business administration, finance or law. MBA desired.
    Certificates and /or Licenses: C.P.M., C.P.S.M. or N.A.C.M certifications or eligibility preferred.
    Minimum Experience Requirements: 6+ years of experience in category management and senior level influencing.
    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
    This is currently an individual contributor role.
    EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
    Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university

    MBA or advanced degree desired.
    Minimum of 8 years of deep sourcing experience in diverse industries, with 6+ years comprehensive sourcing experience in technology product. Aptitude in working with international colleagues and suppliers to coordinate and execute global strategies within a dynamic team environment. Demonstrated experience with service providers, multi-year contract management and outsourced providers.
