    Job description

    About the Role
    As a CBRE Mobile Facilities Engineer - HVAC supporting a financial client, you will play a key role in ensuring reliable, efficient, and compliant operation of commercial HVAC systems across multiple facilities. In this Monday-Friday, first shift position, you will be responsible for maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment by performing proactive performance testing, scheduled preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs.
    You will travel between assigned sites to diagnose issues, support critical building operations, and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment for staff, and visitors. This role requires strong technical expertise, independent problem solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high quality service.
    What You'll Do
    • Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used for building. This includes heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment.
    • Conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation of equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.
    • Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine best course of action for equipment modifications.
    • Review assigned work orders, estimate time and materials needed to complete the repair and maintain inventory of adequate supplies and tools.
    • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
    • Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
    • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

    What You'll Need
    • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
    • Universal CFC certification and Valid Driver's license required.
    • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
    • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
    • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
    • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
    • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.

The minimum salary for the Mobile Facilities Engineer - HVAC position is $31.25 per hour and the maximum salary for the Mobile Facilities Engineer - HVAC position is $36.05 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
