Job description

The Microsoft Dynamics Developer a key role in Virtus' growing team. Virtus is an IT consulting firm that helps organizations transform their business operations through innovative technology solutions. Our team partners with clients across various industries to design, implement, and optimize enterprise applications that drive efficiency, improve customer experiences, and support business growth. We are seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer with 2-5 years of experience to join our consulting team. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with clients, develop customized solutions, and contribute to digital transformation initiatives using the Microsoft ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions. The ideal candidate has experience developing within Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE), Sales, Customer Service, or Field Service environments and enjoys solving complex business challenges in a consulting setting.

  • Design, develop, and implement custom solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Configure and customize Dynamics 365 entities, forms, views, dashboards, business rules, and workflows.
  • Develop plugins, custom workflow activities, and integrations using C#, .NET, JavaScript, and Power Platform tools.
  • Build and maintain integrations between Dynamics 365 and external systems using APIs, Azure services, and middleware platforms.
  • Develop Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and custom connectors to enhance client solutions.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, solution architects, and client stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Participate in client workshops, solution design sessions, and technical demonstrations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, performance concerns, and integration challenges.
  • Support data migration, testing, deployment, and post-production activities.
  • Create technical documentation and contribute to best practices and development standards.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 development experience.
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE), Sales, Customer Service, or Field Service modules.
  • Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
  • Experience developing plugins, custom workflows, and Power Platform solutions.
  • Familiarity with Dataverse, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
  • Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with third-party applications and enterprise systems.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and Agile development practices.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills.
