We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our company’s financial operations and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounting records, evaluating financial performance, and implementing internal controls to safeguard company assets. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial principles and business operations. As a Financial Controller, you will lead the finance team and work closely with senior management to develop financial strategies that support the company’s goals. You will be responsible for preparing accurate financial reports, managing budgets, forecasting future financial performance, and ensuring timely tax filings. You will also play a key role in audits, both internal and external, and will be expected to maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and best practices. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in financial management, excellent leadership abilities, and the capacity to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and capable of making sound financial decisions under pressure. Requirements:

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, and Revenue Recognition
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management
  • Monitor and manage cash flow and working capital

Requirements

  • Proven working experience as a Financial Controller or similar role
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Experience with creating financial statements and general ledger functions
  • Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
  • Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or relevant field; CPA or CMA preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
