Job Description
Who We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have experience with a wide range of marketing functions, including social media, advertising, email marketing, and communications. The marketing coordinator must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines.
Location: Remote + Onsite - The Candidate would report to the office 2-3 times a week for meetings, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the marketing department-s initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as email, event, social media, and content marketing.
- Coordinate product, event, or content email marketing campaigns, including copy, scheduling, testing, and database management.
- Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice.
- Create and maintain social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram with innovative content and growth ideas on a continuous basis.
- Assist with developing and managing content and social media programs, including blogs and public relations efforts.
- Real-time monitoring of social channels and proactively engage with followers, industry analysts, journalists, etc.
- Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high quality and timely execution of marketing programs to ensure competitiveness.
- Conduct research to analyze monthly trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape, and prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
- Manage and maintain ecommerce channels, report on inventory levels, track competitor pricing and promotions and initiative innovative campaigns.
- Work with marketing, sales, and engineering to develop marketing collateral such as spec sheets, website content, brochures, etc. that are consistent with brand message.
- Coordinate and manage social media and campaign calendar on a monthly basis with scheduled posts, graphics, and measurable KPIs.
- Develop email marketing campaigns and promotions to accomplish department and business goals
Qualifications and Background:
- Three or more years of digital marketing and social media experience in a professional environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and communication skills
- Experience with marketing automation tools such as SugarCRM and MailChimp
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with various internal groups and departments - Ability to work in a demanding, deadline-driven environment with a great attitude
- Multi-task successfully while working independently or within a team environment
- A four-year degree or equivalent experience preferred
