Summary:
Performs all the duties of a Pharmacy Technician II. Performs record-keeping, drug packaging and compounding, patient billing, drug transport, and all non-judgmental aspects of drug monitoring and distribution including the support of clinical drug monitoring programs.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate required. Math Skills Demonstrated.
Completion of Technician II Competencies.
Experience:
Three years previous hospital pharmacy technician experience required, including sterile product and chemotherapy preparation and successful completion of department IV room assessments within 3 months, and technician training.
Licensure:
Professional registration with the MA Board of Pharmacy, and successful completion of a Board of Pharmacy approved certifying body pharmacy technician certification examination.
