Job Description

As our Manager of Field Marketing, you will work closely with the Marketing and Sales teams to execute market- and segment-specific marketing programs to ensure success across North America. This individual should have a successful track record of fostering valuable partnerships with sales and helping them hit their quotas through custom and personalized field marketing strategies and tactics.

 

Responsibilities:

 

North American Field Marketing

  • Collaborate with Head of Demand Generation, as well as partner with Marketing and business leaders, to understand North American market challenges and opportunities.
  • Build strong partnerships with local leaders to keep informed on changes in sales strategies to help formulate plans and execute programs.
  • Support account-based marketing activities, in partnership with Sales, including identifying target accounts and executing campaigns with support of cross-functional teams.
  • Partner with translation agency and local reps, as needed, for Mexico-specific campaigns.
  • Work closely with the digital marketing and events teams to launch geo-targeted programs.
  • Share best practices, lessons learned and post-recaps with Sales and Ops during regularly scheduled meetings.
  • Support the EU field team, as needed, to ensure consistency across all global markets.
  • Evaluate industry events and programs for their ability to generate sales interest and pipeline.

Sales Enablement

  • Educate Sales and Ops on the overall marketing strategy, supporting campaign messages and tactical deliverables.
  • Monitor the Marketing Request inbox and prioritize relevant sales enablement requests.
  • Develop sales enablement materials including collateral and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Plan, manage and execute all sales communication as it relates to new marketing collateral, messaging and updates.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS and 3 years of relevant marketing or sales -- training experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, advertising, event planning, and other advertising mediums.
  • Ability to multi-task and work cross-functionally (with both internal and external partners).
  • Demonstrated analytical ability, specifically around program measurement and execution.
  • Proven experience in managing the creation of marketing materials.
  • Experience influencing and communicating to customers and sales professionals demonstrated by excellent written (including copywriting and proofreading) and oral communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills and experience with superb attention to detail.
  • Experience with popular marketing automation and sales automation systems.
  • This position is based out of Chicago, IL and includes little travel.
