Senior Tax Consultant - CPA or CPA Candidate

We're a small, but rapidly growing Tax & Accounting firm located near Central Austin and recognized as the #1 top Tax & Accounting firm in Austin by Yelp. We've won Expertise.com's Top 21 firms in Austin award as well. We are seeking 2 self-motivated accounting professionals, for full-time employment.

The firm is a leader in servicing the complex accounting needs of the Austin community. The leadership team members have over 13 years of experience in designing customized solutions to address progressively complex tax and accounting challenges.

We're ultimately seeking someone who is comfortable meeting new clients and winning them over to the firm using our proven methodology. This candidate will be groomed for a leadership position in our firm, as our lead accountant. The right candidate will ultimately be promoted to a Vice President Position where they will run their own division within our firm. We've just promoted our previous lead accountant earlier this year, and she ran her very own division.

Requirements:
• CPA license is preferred and will consider a CPA candidate depending upon experience.
• At least Three to five years of preparation of complex business and individual income tax returns required. Experience in tax projections and planning is preferred. The right candidate will need to have experience with corporate, and partnership tax returns: 1040, 1041, 1120S, 1120, 1065, 990, 990ez.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, general ledger cleanup, reconciliations, financial reports, and an ability to set up new client accounting systems is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
