Job description

Peterson Tax & Accounting Service, a family-owned tax preparation and accounting firm, is hiring two Licensed Tax Preparers / Licensed Tax Consultants / Enrolled Agents to join our team. Theres are in-person positions based in either our Oregon City or Gresham office — remote work is not available.


We offer flexible scheduling to fit the right candidate, including part-time project-based work during tax season or full-time, year-round employment, depending on your experience and availability. We're also open to flexing schedules around school or childcare needs.


Requirements

  • Licensed Tax Preparer, Licensed Tax Consultant, or Enrolled Agent credential
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and Drake Tax Software (Preferred Not Required)
  • General accounting skills
  • Schedule & Compensation
  • Part-time or full-time, based on experience and availability
  • Seasonal, project-based work available for the right candidate
  • Compensation determined based on experience
