JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary: 

The Catering Coordinator works closely with the Director of Catering and the Director of Banquets to ensure that each event is executed with the highest standards of service and class.

Primary Functions:

• Provides guest tours and offers suggestions in effort to promote the club's facilities for the occasion being planned
• Communicate and work effectively with department to ensure consistent service
• Communicate with membership to convey Club's banquet capabilities
• Plan menus for special events

Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull food trays/carts, chairs, and tables to 40 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifying Experience and Education:

• At least 2 years' experience in event planning at a hospitality venue required
• Superior interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Passion for the food and beverage industry
