Job description

Salary: Based Upon Experience

Established, Michigan Based Catering Company is looking to add a Catering Operations Manager to the team.


POSITION SUMMARY: You will be an integral part of the company providing memorable and positive events in the hospitality industry!


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and/or maintain strong and positive relationships with venue clients.
  • Attend company meetings including, but not limited to BEO, operations and quarterly meetings
  • Review event profiles (BEOs) and proactively identify risks, opportunities, and execution plans.
  • Support onsite event execution as needed and provide post-event operational feedback and improvements.
  • Execute events
  • Maintain accurate inventory
  • Assess current SOP's and develop or implement new ones as required.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, service quality, and profitability.


The role requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move intermittently throughout the workday.
