Restaurant Server/Bartender

The DoubleTree by Hilton Tampa Rocky Point Waterfront Hotel has an opening for one AM Server and one PM Server.

AM Server- early morning hours - starting 5am

PM Server- restaurant open until 1am

Both positions require weekend shifts. Bartending experience a plus.

Our servers ensure that our Guests have an enjoyable dining experience by providing quality customer service. Servers work in the dining room taking orders, and delivering them to our guests maintaining and enhancing the quality of our customer service. You will work in close collaboration with colleagues and follow established health and safety standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Arrive well-groomed and dressed in the appropriate uniform
• Arrive on-time and prepared for all tasks at hand
• Set up kitchen or dining space in accordance to expectations and requirements
• Greet and acknowledge the guests
• Thorough knowledge of dinning service
• Ensuring satisfaction from the moment a guest steps through the door until they leave the building

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A friendly, enthusiastic attitude
• Previous full dining experience
• The ability to deliver a great guest experience
• A team player who can jump in where needed without having to be asked
• Strong communication skills with the ability to resolve conflict
• Experience working in a hands-on, fast paced, high volume environment
• The ability to multitask
• Reliable transportation

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1 year restaurant serving experience
• Fine dining experience preferred
• Quick thinking and speed
• Ability to lift 30+ pounds
• Dependability
• Self-motivated with the ability to follow directions
• Food Safety certification, as state law requires
• Ability to get tasks done with little or no supervision
• Strong attention to details
