**This Position can be combined with a Part Time Atrium Cafe Worker to work Full Time Hours Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm with 2 Holidays per year and Weekends as needed** Part Time (40 hours biweekly) Monday - Friday 7am - 11am with 2 Holidays required per year and Weekends as needed Starting rate of $15.35/hr http://www.joinwellspan.org/Benefits Job Description: Under the direct supervision of the Café Services Team Leader, prepares and cooks a variety of foods; cleans kitchen equipment and food preparation areas; restocks and properly stores foodstuffs; maintains required levels of sanitation. Interacts with the public in a cheerful, courteous, customer-oriented and helpful manner. Duties and Responsibilities + Prepares, seasons and cooks food. + Operates various equipment including slicer, induction cookers and panini press. + Reviews menus and work orders to determine type and quantities of food to be prepared. + Takes and prepares customers order in an attractive culinary presentation. + Ensures that required HACCP guidelines are maintained throughout the food preparation process. + Cleans the kitchen area and cooking utensils. Assist in cleaning equipment, tears down frozen dessert machine. + Ensures all dishes and utensils are clean. + Alerts supervisor to problems and needs concerning equipment and food supplies.

Detects and reports spoiled or unattractive food, defective supplies/equipment or other unusual conditions. Assist in placing orders as needed. Qualifications + Minimum Experience: + 1 - 3 months + Knowledge of cooking methods/procedures, including types of preparation and related routines + Minimum Education: + High School or G.E.D. + Physical Demands: + Moderate physical effort (lift/carry 11 to 25 lbs) + Frequent prolonged standing/walking + Lifts supplies/equipment Federal law requires employers to provide reasonable accommodation to qualified individuals with disabilities.
