Job description

The Town Pump Hotel Group is looking for motivated and outgoing Hotel Maintenance Personnel that will model our mission statement "Genuine Hospitality from genuine people committed to providing comfort and service." As Hotel Maintenance Personnel, you will:
  • Perform duties and tasks to meet Town Pump and brand operational standards to ensure daily cleaning, upkeep, and preventative maintenance, small repairs, or property maintenance of grounds, building facilities, and guest rooms.
  • provide shuttle transportation when needed at some locations, have general knowledge of building construction, repair, maintenance, heating, air conditioning, electrical, and plumbing preferred.
  • ensure the best possible experience for each guest, within the framework of Town Pump operating guidelines, display a high degree of work ethic and pride in workmanship.
  • complete all required company and brand-specific training and/or certifications in a timely manner, complete maintenance records within 24 hours, report all known issues to services, equipment, and property, and ensure work orders are in place.
  • follow Town Pump's grooming and appearance guidelines, wear uniform and nametag always while on shift, and comply with Town Pump expectations for the confidentiality of guest and company information.
  • install small maintenance items as needed for repair under the direction of the supervisor, complete tasks, and assignments on daily and preventative maintenance checklist, ensure building and grounds are clean and clear by removing trash, and debris, as well as removing weather-related hazards such as snow, ice, and other debris.
  • update maintenance records on equipment, tools, and mechanical systems on property, ensure all equipment, tools, and inventory stock is always secure, practice safe working conditions under Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines to include Bloodborne Pathogens.
  • complete other duties as needed such as cross training with the front desk and housekeeping.
