Job description
This is a Seasonal Summer Position.
We are looking for a reliable, skilled, and hardworking Resort Maintenance Technician to join our team at a Minnesota. In this hands-on role, you’ll help keep our resort property, grounds, buildings, and equipment in top condition so our guests enjoy an outstanding experience every day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform basic to intermediate construction and home repair tasks (drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.)
- Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on resort buildings, cabins, and facilities
- Handle boat maintenance and repairs (outboard motors, hull care, trailers, etc.)
- Perform landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, edging, irrigation repairs, and general grounds upkeep
- Operate a tractor and other equipment safely for landscaping or property projects
- Troubleshoot and repair minor issues with HVAC, appliances, doors, windows, and fixtures
- Complete work orders efficiently while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Assist with seasonal projects and special maintenance needs as required
Requirements:
- Proven experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or facilities maintenance
- Basic to intermediate skills in construction and home repair (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting)
- Experience with boat maintenance is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of landscaping and grounds maintenance
- Ability to safely operate a tractor and related equipment
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors in all weather conditions, and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Positive attitude and guest-service mindset
