Dishwasher/Busser

Established in 1981, The Wine Group (TWG) is a privately-held, management-owned company with a portfolio of leading brands, including Cupcake, Concannon, Benziger, Imagery, Chloe, Franzia, and many other brands.

The role of the Dishwasher/busser is to ensure that serveware is to ensure appropriate clean serveware throughout their shift and a sufficient amount to start the upcoming shift.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times
• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, and/or other serveware and places into conventional dishwasher
• May assist busser with removal of plates, silverware, glasses when patrons are finished
• Maintains service stations in a clean and orderly fashion throughout shift
• Maintain kitchen area in a clean and orderly condition
• Receive and store supplies
• May set up tables
• Assist in routine cleaning of the bar, patio and restaurant area based on scheduled service and ensure bar, patio and restaurant areas are presentable for our patrons
• Maintains a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity and efficiency/effectiveness.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have ability to be ServSafe certified
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must adhere to dress code
• Must be able to be ServSafe Certified
• Customer service and or retail experience preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Support and model all Company procedures and policies
• Embrace and demonstrate The Wine Group Core Values – Performance, Empowerment and Cost- Mindful, and utilize them for all decision making

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing 45 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, standing, and twisting in the performance of various tasks in a tasting room environment
