Seeking for a Floor Manager for contemporary Japanese cuisine.
• Monitor compliance with health and fire regulations regarding food preparation and serving, and general building maintenance.
• Schedule and receive beverage deliveries and dry goods, checking delivery contents to verify product quality and quantity.
• Monitor budgets and payroll records, and review financial transactions to ensure that expenditures are authorized and budgeted.
• Keep beverage and equipment inventories while maintaining organized inventory records.
• Review work procedures and operational problems to determine ways to improve service, performance, or safety.
• Assess staffing needs and recruit staff.
• Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job.
• Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
• May be required to create schedules for staff while working directly with the General Manager and Events Manager to ensure services are adequately maintained.
• Candidate must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications Required:
• Minimum 2 Years of Experience in an Upscale Restaurant.
• Exceptional administrative and organizational skills.
• Highly organized. Successful multi-tasker. Meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven success in creating an exceptional customer experience.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
*Skilled in MS Office; Word, Excel.
• Must have a flexible schedule which allows for working nights and/or weekends
• General knowledge in Aloha POS, Opentable, etc. is a plus.
