We are seeking an extremely energetic, uber-driven and highly-accomplished General Manager to lead our Team at The Galley, The Adelphia & The Hackett. One extra-motivated individual with superior interpersonal communication skills will fill our bill.

The Galley, The Adelphia & The Hackett are domiciled in a complex of beautifully restored circa-1899 buildings at the epicenter of Historic Marietta. This regional hot spot with multiple levels of indoor and outdoor dining is known for its USDA Prime steaks, premium seafood, home-grown vegetables and all natural, grass-fed Angus burgers from Stanleyville Cattle Company. The Galley offers creative recipes, unique flavors and exceptional service, which all beautifully come together to create a truly memorable dining experience.

The Adelphia Music Hall, the region’s premier entertainment venue, features live music every weekend. This stylish event space is perfect for hosting weddings, anniversaries, charity events, bachelor and bachelorette parties, a wide variety of corporate functions and other private gatherings.

The Hackett is a casually-chic, 5-room boutique hotel, offering one of the most unique hotel experiences anywhere. Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall facility operation, function and appearance
• Develop sophisticated selling and marketing strategies
• Hire, train and motivate a world-class Team of People!
• Draft and promote policies and procedures based on industry-wide best practices
• Maximize sales volume, profitability and customer satisfaction

Principle Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this lucrative opportunity will be a hospitality professional who has demonstrated success in the restaurant, bar and live event industry. She or he must possess superior interpersonal communication skills, exhibit a pleasant, professional personality and be willing to do whatever it takes to WIN!

• 5+ years of Restaurant Management and bar/club experience is a must.
• College graduates preferred. A combination of practical experience and education will be considered.
• Knowledge of computers sufficient to fulfill management functions, including proficiency in POS systems, Microsoft Office Suite (with an emphasis on Excel, Word and Outlook) and related industry-specific software.
• Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant operations: menu planning and costing, purchasing, sanitation, security, policies and procedures, personnel management, record-keeping, preparation of reports and sales & marketing.
• Extensive mixology competency plus a wide and deep knowledge of craft beer, wines and liquor.
