The Role

As a Senior Product Manager, Web Experience & Conversion, you will own the strategy and implementation of the GM Energy customer web experience (the discover, learn, and considerportionof our web presence leading into purchase). You will sit at the intersection of marketing, product, and technology, partnering closely with GM Energy Marketing & business teams, creative agency partners who provide UX and design support, and internal engineering teams while remaining the primary owner of the GM Energy customer web experience as a digital product. You will be accountable for how customers discover, learn about, and shop GM Energy products and services on our site, defining andoptimizingcustomer journeys, leading sitemerchandisingand CX strategy, and continually improving conversion across our funnels.

This role is both highly strategic and hands-on. You will define the roadmap, write PRDs and detailed feature requirements, work with developers through refinement and sprint planning, and lead experimentation and optimization to drive measurable business outcomes.

This position reports to the Group Product Manager, Sales Enablement.

WhatYou'llDo

Product Ownership and Strategy

  • Lead the product vision and roadmap for the GM Energy customer web experience, translating strategy into an actionable, prioritized plan for the front-end experience

  • Define and evolve the customer web experience to support GM Energy priorities across acquisition, education, and conversion

  • Own intake and prioritization for customer web experience requests, balancing stakeholder needs, customer impact, and technical constraints; clearly articulate recommendations to leadership

  • Collaborate with transactional and eCommerce product managers to ensure a seamless experience from discovery and consideration journeys into quoting, checkout, and other transactional experiences

Customer Web Experience & Merchandising

  • Own the end-to-end customer journey on the customer web experience, from landing pages through category and product exploration to lead capture and purchase

  • Lead digital merchandising and category management for the site, including how products, bundles, offers, and stories are organized, featured, and promoted to drive engagement and conversion

  • Partner with GM Energy Marketing, Sales,CRMand go-to-market teams to bring their content, campaigns, and storytelling to life on the customer web experience

  • Ensure the customer web experience follows SEO, GEO, and accessibility best practices in partnership with engineering, UX, and marketing

Conversion Optimization, Experimentation, and Analytics

  • Co-own andmonitorkey on-site performance metrics (engagement, conversion rate, funnel health) and implement countermeasures where appropriate

  • Partner with analytics and business stakeholders to deeply understand customer behavior, using data toidentifyfriction, shape hypotheses, and prioritize tests

  • Lead usability, A/Btestingand personalization efforts from design to implementation,monitoringperformance and translating results into clear recommendations

Core Product Management and Delivery

  • Explore, define, and prioritize product features for the GM Energy customer web experience, writing clear PRDs, initiatives, and acceptance criteria that reflect customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints

  • Manage and groom the product backlog to support agile development in partnership with software development teams and PMO

  • With software development and PMO partners,participatein refinement, sprint and quarterly planning, sprint demos, and program syncs

  • Partner with software development and QA teams to ensure comprehensive user acceptance testing and training plans are developed and executed, and that applications are successfully transitioned to production

Cross-Functional Leadership and Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships with external creative and digital agencies, ensuring alignment on goals, timelines, and quality of deliverables

  • Provide concise updates for stakeholders, including senior leadership, with pre-reads and compelling storytelling that drive decision making

  • Collaborate across GM Energy and broader GM teams to integrate new products, programs, and experiences into the GM Energy customer web experience

Organizational Excellence

  • Instill a culture of excellence grounded in proactive, collaborative, and supportive engagement across the company

  • Build strong, empathetic relationships with teams to ensure programs launch smoothly and with high dealer, customer, and stakeholder enthusiasm,leveraginginsights to continuously improve how we work and what we deliver

  • Meaningfully champion diversity, equity, and inclusion

  • Support broader GM Energy strategies and projects asrequired

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, marketing, programmanagementand/or customer experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related fieldrequired

  • Familiarity with EV and energy trends, industry, and competitive landscape

  • Demonstrated experience as a product manager partnering closely with marketing teams and creative agencies to bring CX/UX to life

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, includingdemonstratedability to report and present to senior leadership on a frequent basis

  • Strong product management toolkit, including:

  • Writing PRDs and detailed feature requirements

  • Defining and managing backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria

  • Working day-to-day with developers, designers, and QA in agile environments (refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives)

  • Comfort with software product management tools like Jira, Jira Align, Confluence or similar

What Can Give YouaCompetitiveAdvantage(PreferredQualifications)

  • Productmanagement experience for digital experiences, withsignificant timeon consumer-facing marketing or eCommerce sites

  • Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager / Platform, Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, Datadog, or comparable CMS, experimentation, and analytics tools

  • Ability to learn GM database and reporting tools as needed

  • Hands-on experience with:

  • Defining customer journeys and experiences that support awareness, consideration, and conversion

  • Digital merchandising, category management, or site operations for consumer products or services

  • Conversion rate optimization (CRO) and conversion funnel optimization, plus funnel analysis and an experimentation roadmap that includes A/B tests, personalization and segmentation, and landing page optimization
