A rapidly growing construction supply and distribution company is seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to support continued expansion across the greater Savannah market. Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with commercial contractors, builders, and project stakeholders
- Generate new business through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and account development
- Manage customer accounts and provide ongoing support throughout the sales cycle
- Review project plans, specifications, and job details to prepare quotes and identify opportunities
- Track leads, sales activity, follow-ups, and customer information within CRM systems
- Analyze customer needs and recommend products and solutions to support project success
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of quotes and orders
- Assist with project documentation, prequalification forms, and related administrative tasks
- Support collections activities and maintain strong customer communication
- Occasionally assist with branch or counter sales operations as needed
- Previous experience in outside sales, B2B sales, account management, or commercial construction sales
- Background within construction materials, industrial distribution, building products, or related industries strongly preferred
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, or project specifications
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
