Onsite / Contract Term
We are seeking an experienced Windows Engineer to manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise Windows environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Windows server administration, Active Directory, system upgrades, and troubleshooting, ensuring high availability and performance of critical business systems.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, and user accounts
- Apply system patches, updates, and upgrades
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues
- Collaborate with application teams to support deployments and optimizations
- Implement security best practices, backup, and disaster recovery plans
- Automate routine tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Batch, or Python)
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures
- 3-5 years of experience in Windows Server administration
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies
- Experience with Windows Server upgrades and patch management
- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud-integrated Windows environments (Azure, AWS)
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware)
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (SCOM, Nagios, etc.)
- Exposure to networking fundamentals and firewall/security configuration
