Windows Engineer

Location: Full-Time Onsite in Reno, NV

Contract Type: 6-Month Contract to Hire

Travel Requirements: 10% travel to Las Vegas or nearby locations within driving distance.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Windows Engineer to join our team in Reno, NV. This position requires an expert in Windows environments with a broad skill set, including hardware and basic networking knowledge. The ideal candidate will have experience in configuring and deploying Windows systems, integrating related software, and managing domain controllers. Additionally, familiarity with operational technology (OT) and some experience with VMware is desired.

Key Responsibilities:

โ€ข Configure, deploy, and manage Windows systems, including Active Directory and domain controllers.

โ€ข Integrate Windows systems with related software and ensure robust antivirus protection.

โ€ข Troubleshoot and resolve issues within a Cisco/Dell environment.

โ€ข Configure hardware, including racking and connecting switches, with basic networking knowledge.

โ€ข Connect and manage storage solutions.

โ€ข Provision ESX hosts and templated virtual machines with Windows Server and client.

Required Skills and Experience:

โ€ข Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems and configurations.

โ€ข Experience with hardware configuration and basic networking.
