Job Description

As a Senior End User Technology Engineer, you will use strong technical expertise to ensure delivery of innovative solutions and first-class end user support.

You will lead the design, configuration, and management of desktop infrastructure, both on-premise and in the cloud. Playing a critical role in a skilled high-performing team, you will ensure platforms and services remain operational, secure, and compliant, enabling our 365-day-a-year business to function seamlessly.

In this role, you will provide 3rd-line maintenance and support for a global desktop infrastructure, keeping endpoints up-to-date and addressing vulnerabilities, security risks, and identifying future technology opportunities. Actively engaging with end users through face-to-face interactions, demonstrating a commitment to delivering exceptional service, will be essential for your success.

We seek a leader with strong technical expertise, capable of driving project work using structured methodologies, providing regular updates, and mentoring team members. You will oversee escalated technical issues, ensuring prompt service restoration and ongoing team development.

The salary range for this position is between $90,000 to $120,000 annually.

Qualifications
  • Extensive experience with desktop infrastructure management with proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex 3rd-line technical issues.
  • Strong expertise in Group Policy Object (GPO) management and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to manage and support endpoint tools and services such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MECM), SCCM, Intune and Azure.
  • Knowledge of application packaging tooling Master Packager, Admin Studio, PSADT and Orca.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience with managing and delivering projects at scale, large scale application roll outs, upgrade and removals end to end.
  • Exposure to PowerShell Universal, Grafana and Splunk.
  • Enhanced knowledge of security principles and experience using WSUS, AutoPatch, Ivanti and Patch My PC.
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to identifying, mitigating, and resolving risks across desktop environments.

  • Identifying opportunities for automation and process optimization, mentoring the team in implementing solutions.
  • Ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and operational procedures while fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Managing and supporting end user technology platforms including deployment, security, device management and application packaging.
  • Producing all technical documentation associated with each platform and service such as HLD, LLDs and TDGs.
  • Incorporating continual rollouts, upgrades and removals of applications ensuring the business remains compliant and secure.
