Job Description
As a valued colleague on our team, you will design and develop moderately complex solutions for information technology (IT) infrastructure environments, including coding, testing, and certifying technology platforms, software, and applications under limited supervision.
THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The Senior Windows Server Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
  • Develop moderately complex solutions for application design and IT infrastructure components.
  • Understand the end-to-end performance of IT platforms.
  • Draft and maintain policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
  • Independently monitor advanced performance and capacity metrics for technology solutions.

Minimum Required Experiences:
  • 2 years of hands-on experience managing large-scale Windows Server environments, both in AWS and on-premises.
  • Shows curiosity and adaptability in learning and responsibly applying new technologies, including artificial intelligence, to reimagine how we work.

Desired Experiences:
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience managing large-scale Windows Server environments, both in AWS and on-premises.
  • 3+ years hands-on experience working with large-scale Windows environments in on-premises and AWS cloud environments.
  • Experience supporting mission-critical platforms in a 24x7 on-call production support model.
  • AWS and/or Microsoft Windows certifications preferred.
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and hardening secure Windows Server gold images/templates in accordance with enterprise security and compliance standards (CIS, STIG, NIST).
  • Strong experience with vulnerability management, including vulnerability remediation, patch management, security compliance, and coordination with cybersecurity teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Puppet for configuration management, infrastructure automation, system provisioning, and configuration compliance enforcement.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft SCCM/MECM for operating system deployment, software distribution, patch management, inventory management, and endpoint configuration.
  • Strong experience managing Active Directory services, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), Organizational Units (OUs), DNS, DHCP, and enterprise authentication services.
  • Deep Windows engineering expertise, including Windows Server architecture, performance tuning, troubleshooting, system hardening, PowerShell automation, and root-cause analysis of complex infrastructure issues.
  • Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation frameworks to streamline Windows infrastructure deployment and lifecycle management.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale Windows platforms in highly available, regulated, and mission-critical environments.
  • Knowledge of Windows security technologies, including Active Directory security, Privileged Access Management (PAM), certificate services, endpoint security, and audit/compliance controls.

  • Proficient in system administration for Windows Server, with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems
  • Skilled in VMware vSphere and VCF.
  • Proficient in managing Windows and Linux VMs.
