Required Skills & Experience
• 12–15+ years in enterprise integration architecture
• Strong hands on experience with: o IBM ACE / IIB o Azure Integration Services
• Proven experience in largescale ESB migrations
• Deep understanding of: o B2B/EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, AS2) o High volume transaction systems (OMS, Finance)
• Strong architectural foundation in: o API led connectivity o Event driven architectures
• Experience designing factory or ICC models
• Exposure to AI assisted modernization is a strong plus
Key Responsibilities
• Own target integration architecture for IBM ACE → AIS migration.
• Define factory architecture using Logic Apps (Standard), Azure Functions, Service Bus, API Management.
• Lead complex interface strategy, including:
o IBM TX based transformations
o Canonical data model design
o Decoupling and event driven patterns
• Architect B2B/EDI modernization:
o Assess migration feasibility from Sterling B2B / File Gateway
o Define approach using Azure native EDI capabilities and partner integrations
• Review and enhance existing migration framework, especially for:
o High volume transactional flows o Orchestrations spanning multiple internal & third party systems
• Define non functional requirements:
o Throughput, latency, resiliency
o DR, security, compliance
• Establish governance, patterns, and guardrails aligned to an Integration Factory model.
• Champion AI and automation adoption: o AI assisted interface assessment
o Migration acceleration using Azure AI Foundry
o Agentic integration patterns
