Role: Integration Solution Architect
Location: Remote
Client is seeking an Integration Solution Architect to join a highly visible and dynamic team with responsibilities to assess, plan, and deliver IT integration services to our customers.
As a key member of this team, you will be a lead architect that helps drive the IT integration of newly acquired companies, minimizes business disruption, and ensures the company is maximizing the value of acquisition through integration. As an Integration Solution Architect, you will communicate effectively and quickly gain the trust of the audience based on knowledge and expertise.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead technologist for program, responsible for the technical success of each business partner integration program
Influence internal Optum Infrastructure Teams to adapt services and processes to better meet integration requirements
Present to Business/IT teams on Optum's infrastructure and hosting services and identify the benefits of hosting and/or integrating with Optum
Provide thoughtful and innovative solutions to complex technical problems
Consider options, design, estimate and communicate solutions and recommendations that meet customer needs and are in alignment with business and IT goals / objectives
Produce documentation such as high-level architecture diagrams to support recommended solutions
Provide reliable and trusted points of view of relatable customer integrations. For example, how other customers with similar needs have succeeded in their integrations
Maintain technical knowledge of current and emerging technologies/products/trends related to security and architectural solutions
Work effectively in a diverse organization spread across multiple locations
Minimum Qualifications:
B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems or equivalent
5+ years of leadership and IT business integration architecture experience in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment
Broad IT background with knowledge in various technologies, hosting platforms and concepts/methodologies (Examples, general understanding)
Core Technologies:
Compute, Storage, Networking, Load Balancing, Firewalls, Desktop Technologies, Infrastructure Architecture, Application Hosting (On-Prem and Cloud) and M365
Additional Technologies: IOT, Clinical and Zscaler
Familiar with various security/regulatory processes including standards & issues involved in multi-tier cloud or hybrid applications
Ability to discuss cloud architecture and principles of modern platforms including SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy, multi-tiered infrastructure, etc.
Emphasis on having a hands-on approach, take charge mentality and being able to troubleshoot complex technical issues
Highly motivated with proven success meeting commitments in a deadline-driven environment with multiple competing priorities
Demonstrated ability to influence opinion without direct managerial control
Possess a strategic and critical thinking mindset while maintaining a customer focused perspective
Crisp, articulate written and verbal communication skills
Potential of travel up to 10% (US Only)
International working hours will be determined based on location/requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years in a customer-facing solution architecture or systems integrator role engaging with large high-tech organizations
3+ years of previous healthcare clinical IT experience
Previous M&A infrastructure integration experience
Experience in identifying and cultivating business strategies, drivers and value principles as they apply to enterprise business transformation objectives
Proven ability of developing relationships across technical, management, and executive levels
Sound understanding of industry standards around data privacy, risk management, and compliance requirements
