Mechanical Engineer – Commercial HVAC
NVIRIQ is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with strong expertise in commercial HVAC systems to join our team and play a key role in an innovative, industry-changing program. This position supports the full product lifecycle—from concept and design through validation, certification, and production.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of RTUs, split systems, and heat pumps
- Apply thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics principles
- Manage projects, budgets, timelines, and reporting
- Interface with manufacturing and suppliers
- Support UL, Intertek, and AHRI certification efforts
- Develop BOMs, specifications, and IOM documentation
Qualifications
- BSME required, MSME preferred
- 5+ years commercial HVAC product development experience
- Experience with RTUs, heat pumps, and variable speed systems
- CAD proficiency (SolidWorks or similar)
- Familiarity with Carel controls and AHRI standards
- Strong project management and communication skills
