Beverage Catering Events: Catering Lead

Position Overview:

The Catering Lead is responsible for ensuring Moniker Cocktail Co is well represented at the events we offer Beverage Catering. The Catering Lead shows up prior to the catering team and liaises with the essential points of contact for each event. They relay event information and/or changes to the team and makes sure everything runs smoothly. The Catering Lead does whatever it takes to ensure the success of each event while maintaining a high level of communication and customer service.

Essential Job Functions:

• Prior to the event, read and retain information from the staff email containing important information

• Arrive at event at the schedule time, establish relationships with essential points of contact for the event 

• Help unload/organize inventory prior to event

• If last-minute items are needed before the event, Catering Lead will make trips to the store to obtain these

• Communicate any event changes to the Catering team to ensure everybody is on the same page

• Help bus trash/glassware throughout the event 

• Go above and beyond for the client to ensure client satisfaction

Qualifications:

• Experience in customer-facing roles

• Customer-centric orientation with excellent customer service skills.

• Proven communication skills

• Must work well with all types of people 

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Work Requirements:

This position is required to work nights and weekends.
