• Responsibility of the Beverage Manager includes, but not limited to: Source & procure beverages (wine, beer, softs and spirits) and related products in the appropriate quantity and quality appropriate to the concept of the organization Receive products; compare the physical shipment against the invoice and purchase order Prepare daily beverage orders Set and maintain purchasing procedures for all beverages Maintain par levels of stocked beverages at all times Maintain healthy relationships with the suppliers and negotiate on the pricing of the items to be ordered Maintain the organization and overall arrangement of beverages within selected storage areas Assist in stocking, selling, opening and serving beverages where required Maintain the inventory and stock ledgers on a day to day, weekly, monthly, quarterly & annual basis Conduct regular physical inventories and compare them to sales reports, ordering & issuing data Make reports on weekly or monthly basis Cost-out and set beverage selling prices Assess beverage cost % deficiencies as needed Maintain hygiene standards and follow best cleaning practices Requirements Minimum of two (2) to five (5) years of experience with Direct Procurement relative to specific sourcing and food & beverage industry. Preferably a Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field. ABC – RBS certification required CA Food handlers certification preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Business fluency in English and at least one other language is preferred but not essential) and effective team working as the candidate will need to successfully manage activity within multifunctional teams The successful candidate will have proven analytical skills and financial acumen, as well as a methodical approach to problem solving teamed with a drive for results Demonstrate competence to lead and manage multiple priorities and follow through on tasks to completion within set cost objectives Ability to stand for long periods of time, ability to push, pull or carry Fifty pounds, Ability to bend, kneel and squat.
