Who We're Looking For:

We're seeking a motivated Assistant Superintendent with a minimum of 6 months of field or related experience and a High School Diploma. The right hard-working Assistant Superintendent is responsible for assisting the lead Superintendent with the overall day-to-day supervision of field related construction activities. An Assistant Superintendent should have a critical eye for detail, computer literacy, strong communication, and organizational skills. Must be able to provide on-site coordination for all phases of the project, including coordinating subcontractors, material, and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. Successful candidates will be able to share their passion for and dedication to getting the job done and confidently represent the firm, including committing the firm on schedule and cost matters within approved parameters.

What You'll Do:

Our new Assistant Superintendent will provide administrative, technical, and clerical support for the project team. A day in the life of an MCN Assistant Superintendent consists of scheduling subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion, performing quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed, communicating with project team regarding ASI's, RFI's, and Material Submittals. MCN Assistant Superintendents ensure that subcontractors are executing and complying fully with contracted scope of work, as well as their compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards. If you are motivated by working efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-task environment with multiple project relationships and competing priorities, this may be the perfect fit for you.

What You Bring To The Table:

  • A minimum of 6 months of field or related experience
  • High School Diploma
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with individuals at all levels
  • Proven organizational and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, understand and interpret drawings, contract/insurance documents and forms, and make appropriate recommendations to field operations team.


  • Negotiation skills with ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Salary Range: $60,000-$70,000/annually with up to 10% in an annual discretionary bonus
