Position Title:Tax PreparerDepartment:USST- Company StoreStatus:SeasonalReports to:Office SupervisorFLSA Status:Non-exempt.Position PurposeThe Tax Preparer conducts an in-depth interview with the client to obtain all the required information and material to complete the tax return.Position Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/TasksEstablish rapport with clients to build working relationships and increase retentionProvide exceptional customer servicePrepare complete and accurate tax returnsFulfills ongoing training and testing requirements, as requiredImplements client-oriented product initiatives approved by corporateEnsures office is clean, organized, and in complianceOther duties as assignedPosition QualificationsPTIN eligibility, requiredExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsAbility to communicate in a professional mannerComputer proficient and a familiarity with Microsoft OfficeQualified applicants must be self-starters and computer literateFlexibility to work nights and weekends, as neededAttention to detailSales experience is a plus3 years previous tax preparation experience/Enrolled Agent (EA)/Certified Public Accountant (CPA), preferredSemi-retired & bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply!Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentPosition requires working in an office atmosphere assisting clients.Employee AcknowledgementThis is not necessarily an exhaustive list of responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, efforts or working conditions.
