Job description
Day‑to‑day responsibilities include creating and maintaining fabrication and assembly drawings, providing mechanical support to manufacturing for multiple government and space‑qualified production programs, supporting environmental acceptance and qualification testing, and creating or updating thermal and structural analyses for mission‑critical hardware. You will join a strong mechanical design and analysis team in Tempe, contributing to reliable, high‑performance systems used in demanding operational environments. What you'll need
• 3-5 years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering.
• Design experience creating 3D parts and assemblies using SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD system.
• Experience creating, releasing, and maintaining fabrication and assembly drawings.
• Experience performing mechanical testing on packaged electronics such as shock, vibration, and thermal vacuum.
• Ability to manage, allocate, and derive requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Power Point
• Strong communication skills – both verbal and written and has the ability to work with others from multiple disciplines
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar relevant engineering degree • U.S. Citizenship Required • Up to 10% domestic travel What will help you on the job
