Job description
GPIseeks resident engineers for our Connecticut office. Responsibilities include supervising professional or technical staff and managing the day-to-day activities related to construction management and administrative/financial matters for assigned projects.

Responsibilities:
- Verify that construction is performed per contract documents, specifications, and applicable codes and standards
- Manage inspection services to achieve on-time and on-budget completion
- Review and ensure daily narratives, daily labor, and time and material reports are completed accurately and timely
- Coordination of construction work with facility operations, maintenance, other contractors, and other stakeholders
- Review contract drawings for constructability, staging, and logistics
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or closely related field
- 15+ years of experience in multi-discipline transportation construction projects for CTDOT is required with an emphasis on bridge rehabilitation and reconstruction
- A licensed Professional Engineer is required
- Project experience in excess of $30 million is preferred
