Front of the House Team Member

European Bakery and Café is a premier bakery/fast casual restaurant, which serves European style artisan cakes, pastries, breads, coffees, and bistro sandwiches.

We are seeking a highly motivated, high energy, individual for the position for Front of the House Team Member, with a desire to learn and grow. We want someone who can help us build the brand, develop others, and deliver results.

We are always keeping an eye out for applicants who are friendly, enthusiastic, and who genuinely enjoy serving guests. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a customer service position and good knowledge of how cash registers operate. You should also be available to take evening and weekend shifts occasionally.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Possess a thorough understanding of the menu and be able to recommend items and answer any questions that guests may have.
• Communicate pleasantly and effectively with guests.
• Maintain the appearance of the restaurant from the guests’ perspective.
• Maintain a friendly, accurate, and speed of service at all times.
• Answering phones and take orders from customers.
• Assemble orders and deliver in a friendly fast manner
• Clean all areas of the restaurant thoroughly. For example: Floors, dishes, equipment, and etc.
• Stock and restock all areas of the restaurant thoroughly.
• Follow all restaurant safety and security procedure.
• Prepping fresh ingredients
• Genuine - Do what you say and say what you mean.
• Efficient - Able to multitask, be organized, and have a quick pace.

Applicants will also be expected to be able to work on their feet for several hours at a time and lift potentially heavy objects when necessary. Prior experience is preferred, but not necessary.
