Office Assistant

• This position is for an Assistant in Catering to provide customer service for catering inquiries by phone or email.
• Must be computer savvy, able to write and respond to emails, as well as use catering software. Able to build proposals and invoices with catering software as well as respond to emails and make adjustments as necessary.
• Be available to answer the catering phone line during work hours and help customers by answering any questions they may have. This includes giving customers updates on orders that may arrive late and being proactive in letting customers know delivery status in real time.
• Coordinate details of events for golf tournaments, conferences, corporate events, bridal showers, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, charity events, surprise parties, sales meetings, business meetings, employee appreciation events, Live Event coordination.
• Must have at least one year of banquet service or catering experience or its equivalent combination of  education and experience.
• Ensure exemplary guest services for banquet service, food stations, bartending, running food during events, buffets, plated meals, replenishing product and supplies in compliance with event standards.
• Maintain a valid California Driver’s License, Vehicle Registration and Minimal Liability Insurance as required by law.
• Please note that this role will require 100% on-site work leading up to and including the live events. May require working evenings and weekend.
