Description Job Summary Monmouth County Park System is hiring energetic and responsible Camp Counselors to support summer camp programs. Counselors supervise campers, lead activities, and help create a safe, fun, and inclusive environment. Duties & Responsibilities Supervise campers and ensure safety at all times Lead group games, sports, arts & crafts, and outdoor activities Promote positive behavior and teamwork Follow camp rules and safety procedures Assist with daily setup, cleanup, and attendance Communicate with supervisors and fellow staff Qualifications Must be at least 16 years old Must be at least 17 years old with a valid NJ driver's license for Odyssey Camp Counselors Must be at least 19 years old for Therapeutic Recreation Camp Counselors Experience working with children preferred Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Reliable, enthusiastic, and team-oriented Must have the ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision Must have interest in and/or knowledge of some activities offered Requirements CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Background check required Attend required pre-camp training Schedule Seasonal summer position Hours vary by location and program.
