Pocono Valley Resort is a private, group rental resort located in the beautiful Pocono Mountain of Pennsylvania. We specialize in hosting large group events including school field trips, company picnics, family reunions, and retreats. We take pride in hiring the best of the best when it comes to our staff, and we are looking for motivated, enthusiastic, and hardworking individuals to join our amazing team for the summer season.
Position Title: Camp Housekeeper
Location: Pocono Valley - Pocono Mountains, PA
Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, showers, and communal areas daily.
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all camp buildings.
  • Empty trash and recycling bins throughout camp.
  • Wash, dry, and fold laundry, including bedding, towels, and staff uniforms (if applicable).
  • Restock soap, toilet paper, and other hygiene supplies as needed.
  • Perform deep cleaning of cabins and common spaces between camper sessions.
  • Assist in cleaning and organizing the camp dining hall and kitchen areas.
  • Identify and report maintenance or safety issues to the Facilities Manager.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.

Qualifications:
  • Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a camp setting.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to take initiative.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 25 lbs, bending, and standing for long periods.
