Position Title: Seasonal Housekeeper
Location: Pinkham Notch
Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor

Join the AMC team now and embark on the journey of a lifetime! AMC is seeking Housekeeping Crew for Pinkham Notch! This entry level position works in the housekeeping department and has a focus on positive guest service. Housekeepers ensure that guests visiting Pinkham Notch feel at home in a clean well cared for lodge.
What you'll be doing at AMC
  • Participating in the daily cleaning and upkeep of guest rooms, common areas and bathrooms of Pinkham Notch.
  • Processing Laundry.
  • Cleaning, organizing, and taking inventory on supplies and equipment.
  • Supporting gear rentals to guests.
  • Assisting guests and visitors in a positive manner.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing all guest facing areas and some staff areas.
  • Setting up and breaking down conference rooms for groups and events.
  • Assisting with custodial duties as assigned (including restroom maintenance, Clivus composting toilets, pest control, and more)
  • Helping with snow shoveling, sanding and grounds upkeep in warmer months.
  • Actively participating in the housekeeping team, including attending team and facility meetings, undergoing seasonal and skills-based trainings, and contributing to problem-solving as a team.
  • Working up to 38 hours a week.

  • Appreciation for the outdoors and AMC's conservation mission
  • Experience in camp operations, hospitality and/or work in the outdoors is preferred. Housekeeping experience preferred; willingness and interest to learn required.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively and kindly.
  • Flexibility regarding schedule is required.
  • Knowledge of the White Mountain National Forest area is desirable.
  • Must be a team player, detail-oriented, well organized, highly flexible, adaptable, and resourceful.
  • Physical abilities needed: Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds, bend and kneel, and ability to be on your feet for 8 hours a day.

Salary range: $13.00/hr

The initial salary represents our starting point, and our compensation philosophy is designed to reward and recognize the contributions of our employees as they grow within the organization. External candidates typically begin their journey with us at the starting point of the salary range. The final compensation offer will be based on factors such as experience, education, skills and geographic differential relevant to the position, and will be discussed during the interview process.
