Sr. Supply Chain Manager- Remote (Tampa)

PURPOSE OF YOUR WORK:

As a Senior Supply Chain Manager you will be responsible for directing, coordinating, and leading activities for the procurement and commodity management of food and packaging for company and franchisees.  This is a highly skilled position, accountable for product categories by managing supplier relationships, forecasting trends, and negotiating the purchase of materials while partnering closely with the finance department to ensure that all purchases are within budget.

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Recruits and maintains suppliers that provide high quality products and services at a competitive price while maintaining the highest code of ethics and conduct. Sources, negotiates, and assures supply for contracted food and packaging items for company and franchisee locations. 
• Prepares, reviews, and analyzes contracts, bids, proposals, and vendor agreements for legal correctness, price, and acceptability of items to specifications.
• Presents recommendations for supplier awards to management for approval.
• Provides promotional planning, pricing, and inventory management for Food Service distributors for assigned product categories. 
• Communicates regularly with Senior Management, Franchise and Company Operations to ensure all are aware of changing market conditions and product availability. 
• Monitors industry and markets and takes appropriate action to achieve required negotiation results

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Oversees and manages assigned contracts.
• Maintains and documents data for products and or services negotiations, market comparatives, accruals, pricing, and inventory management.
• Manages assigned categories contract process including bid analyses.
• Develops KPI’s and reviews performance data with suppliers and provides reports to management.
• Leads and develops strategic supplier relationships.
• Manages a network of suppliers to ensure performance that meets Checkers/Rally’s requirements,
• Ensures supply & minimizes risk of disruption.
• Maintain awareness of global macro-economic factors that directly impact costs or availability including raw material, labor, and transportation costs and develop alternate sourcing strategies as needed. 
• Coordinates optimal inventory, minimum/maximum levels to achieve highest level of service while controlling costs.
• Provides restaurant operator support.

• Procurement plans and processes
• Company operating systems and procedures
• Company policies and procedures
• Microsoft Office Suite. Access, Excel, Word, Outlook, & Power Point
• Project Management software is desirable, Arrowstream preferred

Education and Training:

• A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business or equivalent offset experience in related fields.

Prior Experience:

• A minimum of 8 - 10 years Procurement experience within the Foodservice Restaurant Brand Industry, or equivalent offset experience in related fields.
