Restaurant Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant 
• Ensure staff complies with the company policy
• Keep customers and handle complaints
• Train staff to follow restaurant procedures
• Maintain safety and food quality standards
• Organize staff schedules 
• Keep accurate track of staff hours
• Cover any shift when there are call-ins or no shows
• Assists staff as needed
• Supervises daily shift operations
• Ensuring all daily transactions are completed correctly 
• Controlling operational costs and identifying ways to cut waste
• Interacting with customers 
• Keep track of restaurant inventory 
• Order restaurant supplies within budget limitations
• Ensure staff weekly hours are accurate 
• Coaches, counsels and disciplines staff as needed
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
• Ensure a safe, clean and professional work environment

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Proven work experience as a restaurant manager or similar role
• Proven customer service and communication skills
• Previous knowledge work with POS systems is helpful
• Training in food safety is helpful
• Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
• Excellent attention to detail 
• Ability to work long hours including nights, weekends and some holidays

Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred qualifications:

• 18 years or older
