Dishwasher/Prep for WeHo Cafe

We are now seeking passionate & operationally savvy Porter/Prep Cooks to join us at our cafe at 8100 W 3rd St. Los Angeles, CA 90038!

The Porter/Prep Cook role is all encompassingevery day you may be assigned to something different, prep cook, dishwasher, & porter, it's all hands on deck! We help one another to bring our best every day.

Please note Bluestone Lane will require COVID vaccination for all teammates. All applicants must already be vaccinated prior to submitting an application. Individuals may request exemption from the vaccine requirement for medical or religious reasons.

What you'll do:

• Effectively washes pots, pans, cutlery, crockery, glasses, and traps; maintains neat appearance of working areas and cleaning equipment storage areas
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors
• Cleans garbage cans and waste barrels
• Maintains cleanliness of bathroom facilities on a 45 minute rotation
• Assists in checking in food order, and properly storing items according to FIFO
• Maintains all storage areas, so they are clean, organized according to company/local government standards
• Washes worktables, walls and refrigerators
• Operates dishwashing machine according to standard operating procedure
• Follows all procedures and meets food hygiene regulations
• Participates in all deep cleaning of the BOH and FOH operations as needed
• Performs general cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming, tidying up stations, emptying bins, checking and cleaning bathrooms
