Seeking a hands-on, passionate, entrepreneurial, upscale high volume restaurant manager to lead and manage high volume restaurants. The Manager is responsible for overseeing the operation and staff of the restaurant to maintain the highest level of standards and efficiency.

What you will have an opportunity to do:

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent.


  • Five years of restaurant experience.


  • Two years of management experience.


  • Knowledge of POS


  • Ability to make quick decisions in high stress situations.


  • Excellent customer service skills.


  • Must have a pleasant and positive personality.


  • Well organized.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for maintaining a consistently smooth-running operation.


  • Monitor and critique food quality and service levels.


  • Hiring, and training all staff.


  • Forecasting and scheduling of staff according to occupancy levels.


  • Daily tracking of payroll and revenue.


  • Coaching and counseling staff, as well as holding monthly meetings for staff.


  • Ensure the physical atmosphere and cleanliness of restaurants, including inspecting tabletops, and side-stations.


  • Monitoring of all current inventories and assist with end of the month inventories.


  • Responsible for ordering new products.


  • Attending department head, conference review, food and beverage and pre-con meetings as required.


  • Responsible for timely performance evaluations of staff.


  • Maintaining the profitability of restaurants through forecasting and staffing.


  • Communicate with leadership team on all upcoming events, promotions, new products, etc.


  • Handle guest complaints in a professional and efficient manner.


  • Providing a pleasant and efficient atmosphere for staff and guests.


  • Complete knowledge of different foods and food trends


  • Familiarity of fresh and local seafood


  • Knowledge of upscale service standards


  • Full Liquor, Beer and Wine Knowledge


  • Knowledge of current beverage trends and Mixology


MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Respond to any reasonable task assigned by the GM.


  • Assist in the restaurant in whatever capacity is needed.


  • Help with other food and beverage outlets when needed.
