Supply Chain Data Analyst

Overview

The Supply Chain Analyst reviews, analyzes and summarizes inventory data to provide recommendations under the direction of the Supply Chain Leadership team.

Snapshot of Responsibilities

• Analyze data and reports using statistical techniques and tools (e.g., root cause analysis, trending, control charting and gap analysis)
• Derive insights from large data sets and make recommendations to improve key supply chain metrics such as inventory turns, days on hand, customer service levels, waste and overall efficiency.
• Turn large amounts of data into concise and intelligent reporting for decision making with guidance from manager.
• Consider the impact of documentation changes on other stakeholders and existing documentation linkages.
• Participate in the supplier performance evaluation/scorecard process.
• Lead supply chain improvement or cost saving projects (as assigned).

What you bring to the team

• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science or science-related field
• Training or certification in Supply Chain field is considered an asset.
• 2-3 years of analyst experience. Planning experience is considered an asset
• Proficient in MS Office including Advanced MS Excel
• Experience working with ERP systems or databases is an asset
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good organization and time management skills
• Excellent planning skills
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management
• Highly detail oriented
