Job Description:

Demonstrated experience in virtualization specifically with VMWare VSphere and ESXi Virtual Infrastructure (5.x, 6.x).

Demonstrated knowledge of VMWare applications and physical infrastructure services and their integration within the virtual infrastructure.

Understanding of virtual environments for proactive assessment of performance.

Understanding of Windows Desktop operating systems to include design considerationsfor desktop, laptop and Thin-client/VDI.

Enterprise level experience managing OS and application deployments.

Demonstrated good judgment in solving problems as well as identifying problems in advance.

Demonstrated ability to manage VMWare Horizon environment built on hyperconverged platform.

Expertise with SAN storage, provisioning storage groups and LUNs.

Ability to write technical and operational management documentation (system design documents and operational runbooks).

Well organized and detail oriented with excellent time management skills.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science or equivalent combination of formal education and work experience

VMWare Certified Associate preferred.
