Job description

The Program Manager (PM) oversees, leads, and administers the setting up of Salesforce Program. The PM is the individual ultimately responsible to the agency. The PM's primary responsibility is to drive the entire efforts for setting up the Salesforce Org, implement DIT's Big Ideas, application rewrite, governance, and operations. The PM must ensure that any risks to projects are addressed to assist with timely completion and that the final product meets the business, technical, and established quality requirements.
• Strategic Planning & Leadership

  • Define and drive the overall Salesforce program vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Align Salesforce initiatives with business goals and stakeholder priorities.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in program planning and execution.
• Program Oversight
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Salesforce-related projects and initiatives.
  • Oversee timelines, budgets, deliverables, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure governance, risk management, and compliance across Salesforce implementations.
• Stakeholder Management
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering, prioritization, and expectation setting.
  • Communicate status updates, milestones, and issues to senior leadership.
• Process Improvement
  • Analyze and improve business processes through Salesforce automation and tools.
  • Champion best practices in CRM adoption, data quality, and user engagement.
  • Drive continuous improvement using feedback, metrics, and analytics.
• Technical Oversight (Non-Coding Role)
  • Collaborate with Salesforce developers, administrators, and architects on technical solutions.
  • Ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability of the Salesforce platform.
  • Oversee integrations with other enterprise systems (ERP, marketing automation, etc.).
• Change Management & Training
  • Lead change management efforts to support adoption of Salesforce features.
  • Plan and coordinate training programs for users and stakeholders.
  • Support user onboarding and provide enablement resources.
• Reporting & Analytics
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for Salesforce initiatives.
  • Deliver dashboards and reports that provide business insight and value.

  • In-depth knowledge of project planning techniques and automated project planning tools.
  • Experience in managing several different priorities and responsibilities.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Experience creating detailed project documents including project charter, implementation plan, test plan, deployment plan, and reports and giving presentations based on the appropriate audience.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Must have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven track record in managing complex infrastructure and website development projects from conception through completion while working with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience performing business analysis and/or project management for software development projects.
